The Chill Out Zone (COZ) is a Healthy Living
Centre for young people aged 12-20 and
living in West Lothian. Its aim is to
improve the health and wellbeing of young
people through the provision of a range of
young people centred health and development
exercises, including:

Access to a multi disciplinary staff
team with backgrounds in health,
education and youth work, offering
information, advice and support with a
range of health related issues

A health clinic offering access to a
range of confidential medical services
concerning young people's physical,
emotional, mental and sexual health

A drop-in service with access to a range
of information and advice from a range
of specialist workers and planned
activities

Access to a cafe providing light and
healthy snacks and opportunities to
develop skills in food preparation and
cooking

A structure for young people's referral
to specialist agencies

Free access to a computer suite and the
internet

A community resource offering a unique
setting for promotions and launches

A confidential counselling service
COZ is funded by Children 1st, West Lothian
Council (Social Policy & Education Services)
and West Lothian NHS Healthcare. |
