Bullying is when someone deliberately frightens, threatens,
abuses or hurts another person. This could be verbal, mental or
physical. Bullying includes name calling, hitting, teasing,
leaving someone out, damaging belongings or demanding money.
If you suspect your
child is being bullied, or they tell you about a bullying
incident, you should talk to their class or guidance teacher or
another professional. Schools should have a written bullying
policy that you ask to read.
